What I hope doesn’t happen is that a character is introduced and their name begins with the kanji for 10 (十) or higher.

Though, it’s also likely that we meet a character who’s name begins with the kanji for 8 (八) or higher. Also, we still have yet to meet a character who’s name begins with the kanji for 3 (三) I have a feeling they will be the next new character to be featured in the show.

KISS HIM NOT ME CHARACTERS SERIES

What’s unfortunate is that we will have to wait until almost the very end of the series to meet this character, but I’m more than certain it will be worth the wait, and I am going to keep watching this show just to see this pay-off. (Finally, a fully bisexual harem, I love it). Make note: That character has an equal chance of being a boy or a girl, considering the second most likely to end up with Kae is a girl. I think at some point toward the very end of the series, we’re going to meet a character who’s name begins with the kanji for 1 (一). This means that, as much as we love Nishima (she’s my favorite character in this show, btw), she’s not going to be the one who becomes Kae’s significant other by the end. If my theory is true, this means that she is the 2nd most likely candidate to be Kae’s significant other. Nishina’s name (二科) begins with the Kanji for 2 (二). She’s also the first person who gives Kae her first kiss and she’s the one we’re rooting for most in Kae’s harem. In episode 4, we are introduced to a new character to add to Kae’s harem, who is a girl named Nishina who is more likely to become Kae’s significant other than any of the guys. Now, I’m about to get into why there aren’t any characters with the numbers 1-3 in their names, but that involves talking about that minor spoiler, so if you’re that worried, you can stop reading here and enjoy the awesome roller coster ride that is Kiss Him, Not Me. This means that, Shinomiya is the 4th most likely candidate for Kae’s significant other, Igurashi is the 5th, etc. I think these numbers rank the guys on their likeliness of ending up with Kae in the end. So now you gotta wonder, why start from 4? Why not start from 1? Well, my friends, this is where we get into my theory of what these numbers mean. Also, whenever you see these characters turn into silhouettes, what’s written on their heads are the first characters of their names which are the numbers 4-7. Therefore, if they were all put in a line in the order of the numbers in their names they would be Shinomiya (4), Igarashi (5), Mutsumi (6), Nanashima (7). Shinomiya (四ノ宮 ) has the number 4 (四) in his name, Igarashi (五十嵐) has the number 5 (五) in his name, Mutsumi (六見) has the number 6 (六) in his name, and Nanashima (七島) has the number 7 (七) in his name. Well, believe it or not, all of the guys in Kae’s harem have names that begin with the Kanjis for the number’s 4-7. We all know from the first episode, thanks to Kae and Amane’s ship name for Igarashi x Nanashima being 5x7, that the first Kanji in each of their names are the numbers 5 (五) and 7 (七). There is one point later in the post where I will mention a minor spoiler, but I will let you know just before I reach that point, and you can decide on your own if you want to keep reading.Īlso, I have a feeling I’m not the only one who’s thought of this theory, so let me know who else has given this some thought and redirect me to their posts. In fact, if you are someone who hasn’t seen the anime or read the manga, and are reading this, please let me know of your experience reading/watching this story now that you know this information. By the way, if you haven’t seen the anime yet or read the manga, don’t worry because this post will contain no major spoilers. Now let’s get on with the stuff I actually wanted to talk about. I just really want to spend more post space on my actual theory. I also won’t go into the plot summery since you can either look it up online or go watch the show.

If you want me to write a review about it, there’s a chance I will at the end of the Fall 2016 anime season on Tumblr and MyAnimeList. I could go into why I didn’t expect to like this series and why I did end up liking it as much as I do, but that’s not the purpose of this post. I did not expect to like this series so much and now I have given it an 8 out of 10 rating on MyAnimeList while the series hasn’t even finished airing yet. If you’re not watching Kiss Him, Not Me ( Watashi ga Motete Dousunda), you should.
